The newspaper Beijingon May 3 (the journalist: HuanRen) Sponsored jointly by Ministry of CivilAffairs, National Old-age Work Committee Office,the opening ceremony of the ^5thChina International Pension Services Expo and the 5^th ChinaInternational Pension Services Development Forumundertook jointly by China Association of Social Welfare and Pension Service,Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and Beijing Old-age Work Committee Officeare held in China National Convention Center on May 3. Governmentaldepartments, pension service organizations and brand enterprises coming from 10counties and regions and more than 200 national pension service fieldsparticipate in the exhibition and meeting.

It is reported thatthis session of Expo sets the exhibition area around the theme of “combinationof medical-nursing mode” service, community home service, information andtechnology innovation, building and equipment supplies for the elderly, elderlyeducation and talent training, domestic and overseas service brandrecommendation. And 13 topic seminars are held synchronously, such as “topicseminar on standard construction of building for elderly”, “topic seminar onstandard construction and operation management of pension service” and “topicseminar on pension service information and technology innovation”.

In the 5^thChina International Pension Services Development Forum, with the theme of“condensing intellectual cohesion, innovative service, sharing among people andharmonious development”, specialists and scholars conduct heated discussion ondevelopment trend of China pension service industry and national policy supportas well as how to explore the route of driving development of pension serviceby referring to international experience.
