On August 5, Forum on Senior Service Standardization and Operation Management in the 6th China International Senior Services Expo was held successfully in the National Convention Center. As one of the subforums of the 6th China International Senior Services Expo, the forum was organized by the China Association for Social Welfare and Senior Service, hosted by Senior Service Assessment and Standardization Construction Working Committee and Health Quality Certification Commission of China.

The forum took "Senior Service Standardization and Operation Management" as the theme, gathered leadership and experts from the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee, and domestic and international Senior Service Standardization field, discussing the latest policy and practical results around the theme of Senior Service Standardization and Operation Management, creating a highend talk and exchange platform for the construction of senior service standardization and senior service assessment.

Inspector Zhao Zongbo congratulated the opening of the forum on the convening of the forum and put forward with the transformation of government functions, the introduction of  streamlining administration and delegated authority, and “Speeding up the development of the upgrading of drug service structure of life service industry from State Council”,and other policies, service assessment will play an important role in senior service industry, Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China will vigorously promote the innovative development of service certification, and provide a strong impetus for the realization of appreciating society,caring for the elderly, improving service and promoting development.

Vicedirector Sun Wei said that under the background of attaching great importance to standardization by the party and the state, the holding of this forum was very necessary, timely and effective. In recent years,the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of civil affairs and other relevant departments have actively promoted the standardization of senior service, and achieved certain results. In the future, we will further promote the reform of the standardization of senior service industry, focus on setting the basic and universal and standardization supporting security of senior service, continue to carry out pilot related to senior service standardization, promote the quality and efficiency of senior service, making great contribution to the development of senior service in China.

,Feng Xiaoli, President of China Association of Social Welfare and Senior Service, in her speech proposed that during the period of 12th Five-Year Plan, the ministries and commissions of the state have actively introduced a series of policies related to senior service, which fully embodies the importance of government towards the standardization on senior service. Social organizations should actively play a role in line with the government to implement those policies, in order to promote the scientific and orderly development of the senior service industry, making contributions in improving quality and effectiveness of senior service industry.

She believes that the following five missions should be promoted in promoting the standardization of senior service: First, speed up the development and revision of senior service system and standardization;  second, speed up the establishment of topdown service standardization work mechanism; third, actively promote the establishment of third party assessment model of senior service; forth, speed up the establishment of governmentled, social participation supervision mode of senior service; fifth, establish a sustainable professional training model in the construction of senior service standardization. She sincerely hope that the participants will take this forum as an opportunity to actively cooperate with the government to make contributions in exploring the standardization of senior service and innovation and development of operation management.
